Dr Alan Bowman has been studying ticks and Lyme disease for over 30 years. He obtained his BSc from Leeds University and his PhD from University of Edinburgh. After post-doctoral work at Univ of Oxford and Oklahoma State University, Alan joined the University of Aberdeen in 1998 where he has been studying Lyme disease, ticks and other parasites
